Betty F. Evans Betty F. Evans, 85, of Junction City, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Oakridge of Plattsburg, MO. Betty was born September 23, 1932 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Bayless and Elsie (James) Ritter. She married Raymond Evans in 1952 at Glenridge Baptist Church and he preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by one granddaughter: Michelle (Horton) Jones and husband Doug of Kansas City, MO; one grandson: Josh Williams of Louisiana; four grandchildren: Emily Williams of Centralia, Baylea, Kindyl and Tucker Jones all of Kansas City, MO; three brothers: Jerry Ritter and wife Ruth Ann of Texas, David Ritter and wife Sharon of Oklahoma, and Ronnie Ritter of Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law: Darlene Ritter of Centralia, and Bonnie Ritter of Carlyle; special family friends: Billy and Dee Dee Howell and children Lacy and family and Garrett of Junction City, IL.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children: Danny “Boone” Evans and Sheila “Kathy” Evans, siblings: Tom Ritter, James Ritter, and Paul “Dean” Ritter, and a special friend of the family “Weezie” Cuno. Betty retired from Murray Center after working there for 32 years. After 2 years of retiring, Betty began to work for the Community Resource Center which she worked for 17 years and retired again at the age of 83. She was a member of the Sandoval Christian Church for over 20 years at which was known to play the organ and she recently became a member of the First Christian Church in Centralia and their Young Adults Sunday School Class.
