Betty Grover, 98, passed away in her sleep at her daughter’s residence in Crescent City on Sunday morning, August 15, 2021.

Mrs. Grover was born in Arkansas in 1923. She was married in 1942 and traveled the world as a military wife for the next 22 years. She has lived in Crescent City for the last 5 years. She was Lutheran by faith and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Palmer Kansas from 1964 to 1991. She has been a visiting member of many churches over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, Frederick L. Grover; daughter in 2001, Elizabeth “Beth” Gertrude Grover, and brothers Arlen, Arthur, and Theodore Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Freda Hartman of Crescent City, Julia Grover (Michael) Coder of Washington; Joyce Grover of Lawrence, Kansas; Janet Grover (John) Hudson of Topeka, Kansas; Jody Grover and brother, Frederick L Grover, Jr. both of Oregon; Sister, Dorothy Limbrey Halling of Clear Lake, Iowa; Fourteen Grandchildren; Twenty Great-Grandchildren and Three Great Great-Grandchildren.
