ELLIS, BETTY W. age 75, of Center Point, passed away at St. Vincent’s East hospital on June 10, 2011. Mrs. Ellis was retired from 25 years of service as a bookkeeper for McKesson & Robbins. She and her husband, Ronald Ellis, were married for 57 years. She was a member of the Roebuck Parkway Church of Christ. She was known to all as a faithful servant. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her brother Billy Porter Womack. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Ellis; daughter, Karen Ellis (Sheldon Whisenhunt); son Brian Ellis (Diane); sister, Bobbie Clark (James); grandchildren Lindsey, Daniel and Cody Griffin; great-granddaughter Emilee McKinnon.
