Betty Elizabeth Hendershot, 88, formerly of Four States passed away Sunday March 6, 2011 surrounded by her daughter, daughter-in-law, and best friend following an extended illness . Mrs. Hendershot was the daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Cunningham Watson. She married Clyde “Jack Hendershot, Jr. on July 20, 1942. She was a homemaker devoted to her grandchildren and animals. She was a member of Saltwell United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hendershot was the last survivor of her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers Harold, Pete, Paul, Howard Watsons, sister Mary Virginia Glover, and all their spouses. She is survived by her children ,Shirley and Rob Rosier of Fairmont, Jim and Dawn Hendershot of Monogah, Don and partner David of Dallas, TX, Jack Hendershot of Fairmont, Linda Wilkinson of Fairmont, Jerry Hendershot of Boothville, Terry Hendershot of Ohio, Mike Hendershot of Mannington; grandchildren, Tonya and Joey Baldwin of Parkersburg, Jamie Hendershot of Shinnston, Jeremy and Aimy Hendersshot of TN, Kim McKenna of MA, Jackie and Lisa of FL, Shawn Hendershot of Fairmont, Jerminah Hendershot of Martinsburg, Jason Hendershot of Morgantown, T.J. Hendershot of OH, Brandon Marks of Hutchion, step children, Jonathon and Vanessa Loffler of Shinnston, Mike Rosier and family of Fairmont, step grandchildren, Kelsey Blosser of Mannington and Daizey Mayfield; great grandchildren, Claire and Chloe McKenna, Eion Hendershot, Haley and Aspen Hendershot, Madison, McKenzie, Morgan Loffler, Izek Baldwin, Danielle, Amity and Kennedy Wilkinson, Titan Marks, Jackie and Lisa, great great grandchildren, Jaiden and Isabella; half-brother, Mark Cottrill and sons Mark and Richard of Corbin Branch, sister-in-law, Judy Beatty of Navarre, OH the last survivor of Hendershot family, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to three daughter-in-laws, Liz Michaels, Mary Fisher, Rhonda Odiehimer, Dawn Hendershot for being like a true daughter to our mother. Also a special thanks to nurse Kim Shaw and the staff of Arbors for the excellence care given mother.
