Betty E. Morgan, 88, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown. She was the wife the late Elwood R. Morgan, Jr., who died in 2010. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Addie E. (Smith) Christman. Betty attended Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. She worked at Lehigh Valley Dairy and Western Electric as well as being the office manager at United Realty and Woody Morgan Realty. She was a member of both the Allentown and Bethlehem Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors: her loving son, Paul Purdy and his wife, Mary of Warminster; 3 grandsons, Daniel, David and Sean and 5 great-grandchildren, Danny, Ethan, Ava, Benjamin and Jacob. In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her daughters, Phyllis Elizabeth, Tami Michelle, Betty Jean and Kim Louise and a sister, Dorothy.
