Betty Dalton, 94, of Orlando, FL passed away on June 2, 2013, at the Westminster Towers of Orlando Health Center in Orlando, FL. She was born on January 8, 1919, in Urbana, Ohio, and resided there for 8 years, in Anderson for 57 years, Markleville for 4 years, and Orlando for 24 years.
Betty is a retired Secretary Delco-Remy Division of General Motors. She was a former member of The Anderson First Baptist Church and a current member of First Baptist Church in Orland, FL. She had been a member of the church choirs of both churches.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Melanie D. Harold, Jr. Crain of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Heather Andrew Ryan of Chester County, PA, and Hoey Ruthie Crain, of Raleigh, NC; great-grandchildren, Alex Crain, Noah Crain, Samantha Keating, Allyson Price, Dalton Price, Aiden Ryan, and Parry Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl L. Phlegar, Sr. and Buelah Lamar Phlegar; husband, Howard Dalton; brothers, Carl L. Phlegar, Jr. and Donald A. Phlegar.
