Betty Hamilton Coulter (Memama) of Pinson, Alabama went home to Heaven on Friday, November 30, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell Hugh and Jessie Clyde Borders Hamilton; her husband, Frances Marion Coulter, Jr. and her baby daughter, Beth Coulter. She leaves behind her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Son – Russell F. Coulter and wife, Susan of Anderson, South Carolina, daughter Rhonda Coulter Buzbee and son-in-law, Brian of Pinson. Grandchildren – Grandson, Russell Patrick Coulter and wife Allison of Reno Nevada, Granddaughters Stacey Leigh Coulter Chapman of Anderson, South Carolina, Ashley Elizabeth Seawell and husband Jeremy of Nashville, Tennessee and Katelyn Christine Buzbee of Birmingham, Alabama. Also, three precious great-grand-children Ashlen Chapman, Hayden and Mallory Coulter. She will be missed by her many friends at Greenbriar at the Altamont, most especially her adopted sister and dear friend, Ms. Rebecca Baugh, and precious in-law and beloved friend, Ms. Christine Buzbee. The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to Mrs. Debra Pendleton for the companionship and service provided to Memama over the last many years. Memama Betty loved her family dearly. She had a strong faith that was evident to all who came in contact with her. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and long talks with those who lived far away. Growing up in New Orleans in the 1930’s, Betty developed a love for people, music, flashy jewelry, and the outlook that life should be fun and enjoyed. There was never a dull moment in the presence of this beautiful woman and she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
