Betty Christina McClain (Cann), 89, of Lynn Haven, Fl. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 3, 2015
She was born in Norwich, England on December 21, 1925. Betty learned to knit at age 3 and continued knitting all her life. She was an avid gardener and thrived on her traveling adventures all over the world with her husband and family. Her greatest joys in life were always her three daughters.
Surviving are her three daughters; Christina Knapp of Lynn Haven, FL, Janette McClain of Green Acres, FL, and Melanie Hendee of Wheatfield, New York. Also, four grandchildren, Rachel Mackmin, Phillip Gdyk, Richard Knapp and Sarah Hendee; and a great grandson, Anthony Mackmin.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry E. McClain, who also passed from this life on the same date: Tuesday, November 3rd, 6 years ago. Betty is also preceded in death by four older brothers.
