Betty Carol Frates, 71, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away, April 16, 2020. The daughter of Paul and A. Prewell McCoy, Betty was born January 6, 1949, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Betty is preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Fay and a sister.
In Betty’s younger days, she was a force to be reckoned with, not fearful, and ready and willing to take on any type of challenge, anytime. Because Betty was so confident, and eager to learn new things, she worked in many different career fields and learned many skills in her lifetime. Betty loved her family and adored her twin granddaughters dearly.
Betty is survived by her husband Paul Frates of the home, daughter Kim Phillips (Mike) of Lead Hill, her son Earl Frates, grandsons Christopher and Zackary Phillips, and her special twin great-granddaughters, Kensley and Emery Phillips, and numerous family and friends.
