Betty Anne Jones Young, age 85, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Corinth Road Assisted Living in Newnan. She was born December 12, 1933 in Griffin, GA to the late George W. Jones and Mildred Shivers Jones. Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her son in law, Timothy D. Kimbell; siblings, Mrs. Lenard English and Mrs. Charlie Goddard. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Y. Kimbell; grandson, Timothy D. Kimbell, II; siblings, Mrs. W.L. Scott, Mrs. Bobby Butler and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers at Corinth Assisted Living and Homestead Hospice for their love, care and support over the years.
