Betty Ann (Yeary) Dewitt, age 81, of Tipton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Betty was born on January 30, 1939 to her parents, Charles Yeary & Nora (Brooks) Yeary.
Betty graduated from Sharpsville High School in the class of 1957. On October 5, 1957, Betty married Jerry DeWitt, and the two of them shared 55 years of marriage before Jerry passed away on October 31, 2012.
Betty was one in a million…a faithful follower of Christ, a committed wife, mother and grandmother, and a true friend to anyone who needed her. Betty will be so greatly missed and always remembered for her warm, nurturing, and encouraging spirit.
A big thank you is extended from the DeWitt family to Dr. Diane Andrews and St. Vincent Hospice of Kokomo for the exceptional care that was given to Betty during her illness.
