Betty A. Kwasneski, 84, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Hamilton Grove in New Carlisle, IN. Betty was born in Mishawaka, IN to the late David and Marie Durant. She was also preceded in death by her husband Leo Kwasneski on May 5, 2014, her daughter, Elizabeth Mroczkiewicz, sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Robert Hillebrand and brother-in-law, Daniel Kwasneski. She is survived by her son Michael (Kim) Kwasneski of Pt. St. Lucie, FL, daughter, Michele (Richard) Ennis of Rockledge, FL, grandchildren, Tara, Eric and Sara, son-in-law Thomas Mroczkiewicz of South Bend, IN, and several nieces and nephews. Betty graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1947 and married Leo on July 26, 1952. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. As a founding member of the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana, Betty volunteered countless hours to her passionate cause.
