Betty A. Hattan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Betty was born April 7, 1937, in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Richard and Donna (Demond) Weber.
She enjoyed gardening, and raising tomatoes and was known to many as the “Strawberry Lady”. Betty especially enjoyed spending time with her family; the children she took care of during her daycare years and working with her husband in their small family business “Nature’s Acres”.
On November 5, 1954, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of nearly 67 years, Howard Hattan who survives.
Also surviving are her sons, Tim Hattan, Scott (Pat) Hattan, Bill Hattan; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special families, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Swartzloff, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Powell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, John Terburg; sister, Connie Pegura; and brother, Lyman Weber.
