Betty A. Franklin, age 96 of Beaverton and formerly of Midland died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Brittany Manor.
The daughter of the late Berton and Gertrude (Loebrich) Droomer was born April 18, 1918 in Midland where she was raised and educated. Betty married William F. Franklin on April 20, 1940 in Auburn and after 55 years of marriage he predeceased her in June of 1995.
Betty had lived several years at Wixom Lake but resided in Midland most all of her life.
She is survived by her son, William (Ruth) Franklin of Beaverton; daughter, Suzanne (Steven) Strayer of Midland; grandchildren, Dana, Eric, Angela, William and Daryl; great grandchildren, Max, Shae, Mitchell, Alexis and Hunter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her infant brother Harold; brothers, Leo Droomer and Earl Droomer and sister, Marion Burkett.
