Betty Schroyer, 69, of Fort Oglethorpe, died Tuesday, September 7, 2004. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Schroyer was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Schroyer Jr. Survivors are sons, Gary (Karin) Schroyer, Ringgold, Larry (Wendi) Schroyer, Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Teresa Yates, East Ridge; brother, Raymond Goddard, Atlanta; sister, Barbara Shanks, Greenville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Chad Yates, Lookout Mountain, Ga., Brandon Schroyer, Chattanooga; great-grandson, Landon Yates, Lookout Mountain, Ga.; several nieces.
