Bettie Powers Poole, age 88, died peacefully in her home in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Bettie was born in Petrolia, Texas on March 2, 1924, to the late Mary Powers and Dick Inman. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Jackson Gordon Poole. Bettie’s family will remember her love of antiques and decorating, her artistic talent, and her sense of fun. She is survived by her daughters, Betsy Poole Burke and Debra Poole Thomas; granddaughters Megan Korby Bassett, Kelly Davenport Chamblee, Melissa Korby Fordyce, Marcy Davenport Haggar, and Molly Davenport Hurt; and beloved great-grandchildren Abby, Anna, Brynn, Caroline, Ellie, Kate, Jack, Laura, Marshall, Matthew, Megan, Sam, and Trey.
