Bette J. Koehler, 83, of Peru passed away at 4:43 AM May 25, 2016 in Manor Court of Peru.
Mrs. Koehler was born in Spring Valley on July 10, 1932 to Bernard and Elsie (Diding) Doyle. She married Donald C. “Barkey” Koehler on August 26, 1950 in Queen of the Rosary Shrine in La Salle. Mrs. Koehler was a homemaker and member of St.
Mrs. Koehler is survived by two sons Richard (Marcie) Koehler of Peru and Gregory (Wendy) Koehler of Oswego; five grandchildren Matthew, Paul, Mark, Catherine Koehler, and Cody (Adi) Pynenberg; seven great grandchildren; one brother Charles (Jeannie) Doyle of Standard; and one sister Beverly Camatti of Peru.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on December 6, 2013; one grandson Adam Koehler; four brothers Bernard, Richard, James, and Donald Doyle; and two sisters Grace Doyle and Dorothy Camatti.
Pall bearers will be Matthew, Paul, Mark, and Randy Koehler, Adi Pynenberg, and Don Yerly. Honorary pall bearers will be Catherine Koehler and Cody Pynenberg.
