Betsy L. Hardymon-Pittman, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on Friday, December 23, 2016.
She was born May 31, 1949 in Fortville, IN to Donald and Peggy (Hudson) Denger. Betsy was a nurse at Eskinazi Health for 7 years and had previously worked as a nurse at IU-Methodist Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She graduated from the old Fortville High School and received her BS in nursing from IUPUI. She attended the Vineyard Church in Mt. Comfort.
Betsy is survived by husband Will Pittman whom she married September 22, 2016, children: Jeremy (Kristin) Hardymon of Westifeld and Olivia (Wessel) Booysen of Littleton, CO; 7 grandchildren: Luke, Nicholas, Caroline, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Adelon, Landon; father Donald Denger of Greenfield; sister Dianne Bennett of Greenfield; brothers: Steven “Ned” Denger of Fortville and Joseph Denger of Greenfield; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in passing by her mother Peggy (Hudson) Denger and brother Robert Denger.
