Bethany Rose Dunne, 36, beloved daughter, sister, and mother passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2020. She is survived by her three children, Damian Royce, Brooklyn Elizabeth, and Joseph Anthony. She was the daughter of Ann (Sherman) and Bill Giuggio and her late father Dennis Dunne. She is also survived by: her siblings, Kelly Ryll, Robyn Demuth, Michaela Giuggio, Will Giuggio, and Kate Giuggio; her grandmother, Elizabeth Sherman; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.Bethany was born on May 17, 1984 at Lajes AFB hospital in Azores, Portugal and lived in Vermont before moving to Massachusetts where she attended Bourne schools. She received her high school diploma from Wareham, then attended Bristol Community College where she earned her CNA certification.Bethany liked to describe herself as a tomboy in her early years. She loved to catch bugs and worms, climb trees, and run- especially in the annual Turkey Trots and field days at school. She had many neighborhood adventures with her best friend Jenna and loved being included in her family’s events and activities. Bethany had a wild imagination and was also a great defender of others who were mistreated. Some of her favorite childhood times were the two weeks she and her cousins spent at their grandparents’ home on Herring Pond each summer and the annual family camping trip to Papoose Pond in Bethany’s adult years she used her talents to make many beautiful pieces of art that she loved giving to family members. One of her dreams was to become a tattoo artist. Her other interests included cosmetology, music, and writing. She loved to sing and dance, and learned the choreography of several musicals perfectly- often dancing around the living room and on top of coffee tables and couches to demonstrate. She spent many hours writing poems and songs. People were often touched by her raw sense of empathy when writing.
