Bessie May (Haggard) Rhude, 68, passed away Monday Sept. 1, 2014 in Columbus. She was a resident of Franklin. Bessie was born Feb. 7, 1946 in Franklin to Clemous and Louise (Dillman) Haggard.
She was employed with HCR Manor Care as a environmental services director for 22 years.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, and loved to work in her flowers gardens. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Bessie is survived by three children, Angela (Josh) Burdine, Doug (Bev) Brownfield and Kyle Rhude all of Franklin, a sister, Linda (Richard) Bunch of North Vernon, and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Jack Hensley, George R., Clemous, and Jim Haggard and two sisters, Geraldine Margason and Della Scharlott .
