Bess M. Verts, age 87, of Warrenton, VA went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Fauquier Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1929 in Warrenton, VA the daughter of the late Elton and Mamie (Gray) Brown. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Milton Verts and a son James Larry Verts. Survivors include her daughter, Sandi Bridgett and husband Swanee; daughter-in-law, Dianne Verts; four grandchildren, Melanie Breeden and husband Andrew, Jimmy Verts, Swanee P. Bridgett, Sr., Kimberlee Price; six great grandchildren, Maggie Breeden, Amelia Breeden, Maia Price, Sean Price, Swanee P. Bridgett, Jr., Jordyn Bridgett.
