Berton L. Francoeur, 90, husband of the late Mary Eileen King Francoeur, of West Haven entered into rest December 22, 2011. He was the devoted father of Ann Marie Weyler and her husband Eric and USAF CMSgt (ret.) Robert Berton Francoeur. Proud grandfather of Emily Brooke Weyler. He also leaves his best friend & companion Josephine Robertson. Bert was predeceased by his parents Leodore & Gertrude Francoeur & his brother Lester. During WWII, Bert served in the Army during the Middle-Eastern, North Africa Theater of Operations. After an injury in Tripoli, he was reassigned as a 1st SGT in the Army/Air Corp and discharged in 1945. For 44 years, he worked as an inspector for ADT until his retirement.
