Born in Dundalk, MD, on March 4, 1937, she was one of seven children of the late Elroy and Helen Pauline (Becker) Tankersley. She was the beloved wife of the late William W. Greek who passed May 17, 2005.

Bertha grew up on the family farm on German Hill Road in Dundalk and graduated from Dundalk High School. She married Bill, the love of her life in 1956, and together they raised three children, first in Rosedale, moving to Fallston and finally moving back to the country in Delta, PA.
