She is survived by her daughters, Dorwinia (Dory) Hopkins of Cañon City; Clara (Tex) Luthi of McCammon, ID; Katherine (Ron) Degler of Lone Tree, CO; brother Fred (Karen) Sparks of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Lily Pienovi of Portland, OR and Phyllis (Tom) Zamarripa of Pueblo, CO. She has 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bertha graduated from Springfield, CO High School in 1936.
