Bertha E. “Sally” Davis, 78, of Muncie, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011
at her residence. She was born January 19, 1932 in Muncie to Grant, Sr. and Julia Mae
She worked 22 years as a sales associate for Ball Store/Elder Beerman. Sally and her late
husband Bruce W. Davis started the Muncie Gun Show in 1970 and promoted it until recently.
Survivors include her children Garry Davis (wife-Jackie) of Brandon, Mississippi, Peggy Davis (husband-Ted) of Oxford, Mississippi, Bill Davis (wife-Sandy) of Mulberry, Indiana, April Davis of Muncie and sister Rosalee Zimmerman of West Palm
Beach, Florida.
Grandchildren Chad Davis, Kelly Box (husband-Chris), Jammie Winters, Stephanie
Blackwell, Misty Dillon, Krystal Posey-Bray and Katelyn Davis, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband Bruce , her mother and father, a grandson
Grant, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
