Bertha M. Conrad, age 94, of Tecumseh, passd away April 14 at the Saline Evangelical Home. Bertha was born May 10, 1921 in York Township, MI to Thomas and Rosa (Smith) Applegate. On February 17, 1940 she married Elsworth (Al) Conrad and he preceded her in death May 31, 1970. Bertha lived in the Tecumseh area most of her life and retired from Boysville of Michigan. Bertha is survived by her children, Thomas (Barbara) Conrad of Bradenton, FL. Dean (Emily) Conrad of Tecumseh, James (Joyce) Conrad of Clinton, Kathleen (Steve) McCrate of Tecumseh and Mark (Donna) Conrad of Britton; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Elsworth (Al), she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter in infancy, Janice; grandson, Jeff Conrad; three sisters and two brothers.
