Bert J. Dyszkiewicz, 89, of Bedford, Texas, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2005, at Hurst Plaza Rehab & Nursing. Bert was born on April 24, 1916, in South Bend, Indiana to Peter and Josephine (Garvos) Dyszkiewicz. He retired from the US Postal Service and had been employed with the former Studebaker Corporation for 40 years. On August 23, 1947, Bert married Mary Palatin who preceded him in death on August 14, 1988. His son, Michael Dyszkiewicz preceded him in death on April 20, 1997. His sister, Elsie Wegner and his brother, Walter Dyszkiewicz, also preceded him in death.
Surviving is his daughter, Judith Dyszkiewicz of Bedford, Texas.
Bert was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a WWII Army veteran, and was a member of the American Legion post #357.
