GRUIZINGA, Bernie L. Of Kalamazoo. Passed away suddenly on September 19, 2010 at his residence. Bernie was born August 31, 1949 in Parchment, MI, a son of John and Barbara Bush Gruizinga. He was a long time resident of Hudson, NH until moving to Kalamazoo in March of this year.
He was a former employee of Digital Equipment Corporation of New Hampshire. Bernie was a die hard Red Sox fan; an avid artist in stained glass and computer digital imaging. He was preceded in death by his father John J. Gruizinga in 1986. Surviving are his mother Barbara J. Bush Gruizinga of Kalamazoo; 4 siblings, Bonnie Baris, Patricia Dan Davidson, John R. Gruizinga and partner Jane Macomber and Mary Fred Tebbenhoff; many nieces and nephews.
