Mrs. Bernice Tyson Lindsay, 55, a resident of 513 Tremont St., died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at Cancer Treatment of America, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Lindsay was born January 15, 1950 in Anson County, a daughter of Ellious Tyson, Sr., and Floree Lindsey Tyson. She was a graduate fo William Penn High School, High Point, class of 1968. She was employed as a quality control officer at Parkdale Mills, and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her father preceded her in death.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Myer W. Lindsay of the home; two sons, Michael W. Lindsay of the home, and Stephen Lindsay & wife, Demesha, of Greenville, S.C.: one daughter, Angela McCauley and husband, Stanley, of High Point; three grandchildren, Tyrone Payne, Jonathan Lindsay, and Sean Edward Lindsay; two brothers, Ellious Tyson, Jr. of High Point, and Sam Lindsey fo Washington, D.C.; god-mother, Lucille Smith, of Albemarle; a host of other relatives and friends.
