Bernice M. Thompson, age 91, of Spirit Lake, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She was born on May 12, 1918, in Superior, Iowa, to George and Nora (Hartnett) Landmesser.Bernice graduated from Superior High School in 1936.
She worked for fourteen years for Berkley and Company tying leaders, before working as a sales clerk for Chozen Clothing Store for twenty-one years.
Bernice was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Bernice is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jean Thompson of Spirit Lake
