Mrs. Malley was born May 2, 1912 in Shelton daughter of the late Lawrence and Jochima (Suruda) Barnell. She had been employed by Wallace Barnes of Bristol for 37 years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed life to the fullest, living with her twin sister, Estelle, until her death in January 2007. She will be missed by everyone, especially her niece Jerrene Zawisza of Planstville, who she was very close to in her life.
The family would like to thank the nurse’s and aide’s at Valerie Manor for the care Bernice received while a resident there as well as the VNS of Torrington and Companions and Homemakers.
