She was born May 23, 1924, in Northbridge, MA
Daughter of the late Ralph and Martha (Briley)Thatcher
Mrs. Hopkins worked in area textile mills before being employed at Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag, where she was a devoted nursing assistant until retiring in 1989. She lived most of her life in Burrillville. She and her husband were married for 59 years.
