Died Sunday morning July 19, 2020 at Glen Arbor Hospice in Battle Creek, Michigan. Ben was born August 20, 1956 in Winsum, Groningen, The Netherlands a son of Bernardus and Evelyn (Klooster) Kruissel. He had been a Kalamazoo/Paw Paw area resident most of his life and was employed with an Asphalt Company before retiring due to medical issues.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents and his longtime companion, Jackie Kohlhaas. He is survived by 3 siblings, Hans (Janice) Kruissel of Schoolcraft, Jane (Roy) Randen of Coloma and Grace (Robert) Gilman of Mattawan. Also surviving are his aunt who cared for him the last two years of his life Ria Klooster Bush and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
