Bernard R. Hathcoat, 93, of Anderson, passed away on November 9, 2020. He was born on September 30, 1927 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and resided most of his life in Anderson. B.R. graduated from Walnut Ridge High School. He worked for Delco Remy Division of General Motors, retired after 36 years of service. He was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. B.R. loved to go hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Larry Hathcoat; grandchildren, Tammy, Brandi, and Zack; and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, Norman (Marge) Hathcoat; sister, Pauline Gibson, and several nieces and nephews. B.R. was preceded in death by his wife, Latheda M. Hathcoat; parents, Paul and Ruby Hathcoat; and brother, Bill Hathcoat.
