Shortsville – Bernard M. D’Arduini, 70, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Bernard was born the son of the late Philip and Patricia (Conley) D’Arduini on Thursday, September 27, 1951, in Clifton Springs, NY. He was raised in Manchester, graduating from Red Jacket High School in 1969. Bernard attended SUNY Cobleskill and Brockport State College, earning a political science bachelor’s degree in 1973. Bernard started work on the Lehigh Valley/Conrail Railroad and retired in 1996 after an injury. He enjoyed being in nature, whether birdwatching, hunting, or gardening. He loved watching the NY Yankees and spending time with his family. Bernard was a communicant of St. Dominic Church and a member of the Arbor Day Foundation and Audubon Society.
Bernard will be remembered by his wife of 47 years Kathleen (Ketchum) D’Arduini; children Dominic B. D’Arduini, Katy Marie (Michael) D’Agostino and Patricia M. D’Arduini; grandchildren Maria Teresa, Anthony Hawk and Philip Michael D’Agostino; siblings Rita (Laurent) Gurewitch, Philip (Wendy) D’Arduini, Maureen Datthyn-Robinson and Daniel (Michelle) D’Arduini; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bernard was prdeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Margaret Ketchum, and Robert’s second wife, Alberta Ketchum.
