Bernard Lee Dalton, 80 of 1020 Twin Arch Drive, Danville, Va. died Sat. Apr. 9, 2011 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Dalton was born Apr. 15, 1930 in Pittsylvania County to the late Roswell Dalton and the late Kate Pickeral Dalton. He was married to Nancy H. Dalton of the residence for 60 years. Mr. Dalton was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church for 48 years. He was self employed all his life as a painting contractor. In addition to his wife he is also survived by four sons; Lee Dalton and wife Patricia of Danville, Va., Danny Dalton and wife Dana of Pelham, NC., Randy Dalton and friend Vickie Porterfield of Danville and Barry Dalton and wife Pamela of Dry Fork, Va.; one sister Rebecca Keen of Danville; three brothers Curtis Dalton of Roanoke, Va., Paul Dalton of Gretna, Va. and Edgar Dalton of Danville; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is also predeceased by one sister Neyra Worley; two brothers Acie Dalton and Clay Dalton.
