Bernard Keith May, 82, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at the IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington, IN.
He was born November 5, 1936 in Bloomington to the late Haskell C. and Dora Inez (Pless) May.

Bernard was a Foreman at the Herald-Times for 40 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Monroe County Masonic Lodge #22 and a member of the York Rite. He was also a member of Northside Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue (Lanam) May. He is also survived by a son Ron May (Tami) of Columbus, IN; two daughters, Karen Deckard Weddle of Indianapolis, IN and Dona Crippen of Bloomington, grandchildren Emily May of Indianapolis, Matthew Crippen of Corydon, Ashley Weddle, Jamie Weddle, Christina Weddle, all of Indianapolis, Nikki Fletcher (Joe), Colorado Springs, CO, Nathan May Manhattan, KS; Logan Smith, Columbus, Allison May, Manhattan, KS; Barbara May and Daphne May both of Columbus, one sister, Carolyn S. Puckett and one brother, Franklin B. May (Dorothy), and one sister-in-law, Betty J. May all of Bloomington and several great grandchildren.

Bernard was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara S. Lucas and one brother, Donald F. May.
