Mr. Hoyt was born July 8, 1927 in Boston, MA son of the late Bernard W. and Ruth (Hurd) Hoyt.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, William D. Hoyt of Ellington, James M. Hoyt of Hamden and David S. Hoyt of Watertown, MA and three grandchildren, Shane, Logan and Maximus. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter E. Hoyt.
