Mr. Bernard A. Murphy, age 73, of Milford, beloved husband of Tatiana Murphy, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009 in CT Hospice, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Son of the late Bernard A. and Philomena G. Romano Murphy, he was born on December 30, 1935 in Yonkers, NY.
In addition to his beloved wife, survivors include his six devoted children James Murphy and his wife Lisa of Alabama, Doris Mortimer and her husband Kurt of Bethel , Sherri Hottin and her husband Glenn of Oxford, Cathy Willey and her husband Scott , Brian Stevens and his wife Wendy and Kim Geer and her husband Frank all of Milford, fifteen loving grandchildren Ryan, Danielle, Brendan, Sarah, Matthew, Joseph, Joshua, Sarah, Nicholas, Jake, Tiffany and her husband Mark, Shannon, Morgan, Frank and Emily, two cherished great-grandchildren Avery and Cooper. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Franklin and Tatiana Jones, sister-in-laws Eileen Jones of Milford and Cynthia Tomaszewicz of Vermont, his uncle and aunt Graves and Cecil Simons of Florida, four cousins, six nieces and nephews.
