Bernadine M. (Dini) High, 90, of Montoursville, passed away into God’s loving and eternal care Thursday, April 28, 2011 at her home.

Bernadine was the devoted wife of 39 years to the late John D. High, M.D., a well respected family physician who practiced medicine in Williamsport for many years. He died on June 16, 1981.

Bernadine was a caring Mother and home maker for most of her life. She was active in her community, formerly serving as president of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Lycoming County Medical Society.

Born October 4, 1920 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of William Edward and Helen Lillian Wheary Falk.

Surviving are sons, William W. High of Montoursville, David A. High M.D. of Medford, NJ and Edward W. High of Lock Haven; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dana High of Basalt, CO and dearest cousin Arlene Henderson of Fredericksburg, PA.

Bernadine was the cherished sister of the late William and Albert Falk, sister-in-law and beloved friend to the late Ilene Falk and loving mother to her late son, John D. High, Jr.
