Bernadine Lucy Fox, peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023, in Fremont, Ohio, at the age of 91. She was born on December 13, 1931, in Millersville, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Cecelia (Toeppe) Foos.
Bernie was a loving and devoted mother to her son Thomas (Carla) Fox and daughter Regina (Joseph) Loudon. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Suzette (Jason) Rosskopf, Brandy (Mark) Morris, Brittany (Robert) Knieriemen, Kristen (Michael) Fox, Erin (Scott) Runyan, Johnny Honebrink, Jakob Loudon, and Luke Loudon. Bernie also took great joy in being a great grandmother to Logan Crowel, Brendin Morris, Bryce Morris, Ayva Fox, Brody Knieriemen and Thomas Knieriemen.
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Bernie is survived by her brothers Norbert (Madonna) Foos, Herman (Rosie) Foos, and Vincent Foos. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert Fox, her son Victor Fox, and her infant children Michael and Karen Fox. Bernie also mourned the loss of her sister Dolores Wagner, brother-in-law Robert Wagner, and sister-in-law Rita Foos.
Bernie graduated from Millersville High School. She enjoyed square dancing. Thats where she met the love of her life Herbert Fox at Meadowbrook Park. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she found solace and comfort in her faith.
In her free time, Bernie enjoyed indulging in her hobbies, which included gardening, sewing, crafts and puzzles. She had a green thumb and took great pride in her beautiful garden. Bernie’s talent for sewing and crafts was evident in the thoughtful creations she made. Her love for puzzles challenged her mind and provided hours of entertainment.
Bernie’s warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed. Her legacy of love and dedication to her loved ones will forever be cherished.
