Bernadine “Bernie” Curtis, 93, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, MS… Dr. Bob Curtis and Dr.. Burail will follow in Anchor Cemetery. Born in St. Louis, MO, to Thomas and Bessie Bean White, Mrs. Curtis is the widow of James Raymond Curtis. Bernie was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford, MS, and she was a church pianist in various churches throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and took great joy in her family. While she was living at Oxford Health and rehab, she played the piano for the Monday Bible Study/ Sing Along. Mrs. Curtis is survived by her daughter, Linda Taylor and her husband David of Oxford, MS. Sons, Donald “Don” Curtis and his wife Jeanie of Plano, TX and Dr. Bob F. Curtis and his wife Debbie of Olive Branch, MS. Grandchildren, Donna Wilmoth, Kim Waltrip, Sharon Stinson, Karen Cassada, Jen Bourbonais, and Joel Curtis.. She is preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Benson.. Curtis’ memory may be made to North Oxford Baptist Church, P.O.
