Berenice M. Refowich Berenice M. Refowich, 93, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Dr. Richard S. Refowich, with whom she shared over 62 years of marriage before he passed in 2005. Born in Brooklyn, Berenice was the daughter of the late Jacob and Rose (Deichman) Lehrer. She enjoyed cooking, boating, fishing and raising German Shepherds. She was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, and of the Bethlehem Boating Club. Berenice was also a former member of the Northampton County Medical Auxiliary. Survivors: daughter Barbara Refowich. Berenice was predeceased by her husband, her son Robert Refowich, and her sister Ilene Gottfried.
