Benjamin Davidson Jr.,87, passed away on June 12, 2015, with his dedicated wife of 64 years Lois by his side. Been passed due to complications from a 10 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born May 21st 1928, the only child of Benjamin Sr and Jenny Davidson in Paterson, NJ (deceased). At the age of 17, he joined the US Navy. He served for one year until WWII ended; followed by 3 years in the National Reserves. He married the love of his life, Lois on November 4th 1950.
They had four children who they raised in suburban Oakland,NJ.
Ben is survived by his wife; Lois, three sons; Scott Davidson FH; Marc Davidson Vernon NJ, Doug Davidson Land ‘o Lakes, FL; one daughter, Nancy Wodynski FH; and son-in-law, Greg Wodynski FH; local grandchildren Jordan Wodynski FH, Connor Wodynski FH (Nancy and Greg’s children); Two adult grandchildren; Jesse Davidson Vernon NJ, Jacob Davidson Hoboken, NJ and Nicole Davidson his wife; and his two great grand children; Emma Davidson and Sophia Davidson Hoboken NJ (Jacob and Nicole’s daughters).
