Benjamin Clyde “Ben” Rhodes, 73, of 823 Charlie Garner Rd., Bennett, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence.
Ben was a native of Lee County, a resident of Bennett, and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He retired from the Department of Defense in 2004 where he worked as a civil engineer. Ben was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sarah Williams Rhodes, and brothers, Hobson Rhodes, and Tony Rhodes.
Survivors: wife, Beverly Rhodes, of the residence, Rebekah Rhodes, of Raleigh, son, Michael Rhodes, and wife, Riza, of Holly Ridge, brothers, Walter Rhodes, of Sanford, David Laws, and wife, Susan, of Durham, grandchildren, Hannah Rhodes, and Mikeala Rhodes, father and mother-in-law, Rev. Robert and Juanita Kidd, of Robbins.
