Belinda was a loving wife and Nana to her grandchildren and a friend to many. She was an Alhambra Shrine Lady. Belinda had a kind and gentle nature that could be seen in the way that she nurtured babies, children, and animals of all kinds. She took in neglected and abused animals, showed them what love was and found them new homes. Belinda was a true advocate for God’s creatures. Her grandchildren truly adored their Nana. Belinda will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Edward Abney and Joy Rita Richard to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Daniel J. DiGerolamo; her step children, Adam R. DiGerolamo and Dayna L. Wessels; her grandchildren, Trevor DiGerolamo, Caden DiGerolamo, Ethan DiGerolamo, Emily Garner, and Georgia Wessels; her brothers, Richard Abney and Alvin Abney; her sisters, Penny Abney Harper and Sharon Abney Rodrigue; her nieces and nephews, Levi Wesley Abney, Beau Wesley Abney, Amanda Abney Joyner, Devin Dugas, Heather Abney, Dustin Dugas and Faith Harper, and Payton Harper, Hallie Rodrigue, and Lacie Rodrigue.Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital () or Shriner’s Hospital for Children ().
