Belen Esmero Kwek, 85, of O’Fallon, Ill., born January 20, 1922 in Palompom, Leyte Philippines, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Mrs. Kwek was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Tulawi Kwek Sr., a granddaughter Krystal Kwek, her father Zacarias Esmero and mother Isidra Marilao Esmero, and 12 brothers & sisters. Belen is survived by her children, Fernando (Delfina) Kwek, Gloria (Bernardo Sr.) Marcelo, Julian Jr. (Helen) Kwek, Tersita (Wilfredo Sr.) Albellana, Edwin (Leah) Kwek, and Leslie Kwek, all of the Philippines, Zenaida Kwek of Germany, Jose Kwek of Missouri, Antonio (Mary Ann) Kwek of California, Vicenta (William) Stoll of Illinois, a sister Salud Reposar, 39 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces nephews, cousins and good friends.
Belen was a very loving, generous & loving mother, grandmother and friend who lived life to the fullest.
