Beatrice “Patty” Cox, 73, of Grafton, died August 2, 2013 in Mon General Hospital. She was born in Taylor County on May 18, 1940, a daughter of Raymond and Audrey Wolverton Ball. Surviving are three sons, David Paul Cox, Jr., Walter F. Cox, and Timothy Paul Cox; two daughters, Hiedi F. Cox and Angie P. Smith; three daughters-in-law, Alisa Taylor-Cox, Mary Beth Cox, and Ellen Cox; and one son-in-law, Denny Smith. Also surviving are two brothers, William Ball and Carl Ball, one sister, Madeline Myers, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Paul Cox, Sr. and a brother, Raymond Ball, Jr. She will be missed not only by her family but by her four-legged children, her dogs.
