Beatrice L. Minton, 85, Huntington, IN. died at 11:40 P.M. Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation, Huntington. Mrs. Minton was born January 9, 1923 in Huntington Co. to Leland and Nancy Wall Fisher. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Minton married Russell Minton, August 23, 1940. Her husband preceded her in death August 30, 1977.
Mrs. Minton was employed at Triad-Utrad, Huntington as a finisher/winder. She retired in 1985. During World War II, she worked at Supercharger in Fort Wayne building Aircraft superchargers. Beatrice was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Huntington. Survivors include: 2 Sons: Gary Minton and wife Linda, Huntington and James Minton and wife Cheryl of Huntington, IN.; 1 Brother Robert Fisher and wife Jean, Chapman Lake, IN: 3 grandchildren: Lisa House, James Nathan Minton and Robert Minton; and 3 great-grandchildren: Skylar Minton, Monica Minton, and Faith Minton.
Mrs. Minton was also preceded in death by one brother: Leland Fisher; one sister: Mary Jane Schnepp, a grandson: Michael Minton: a granddaughter, Andrea Minton: and great-grandson: Trevor House.
