Beatrice L. AlexanderAge 99 of Chesaning passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Westfall Assisted Care in Montrose.A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel with Rev. John Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Brant Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 16 from 1:00 to 8:00pm and on Friday from 11:00am until the time of service.Beatrice was born on May 29, 1917 to Chancy and Dottie (Trumble) Loachridge in Brant Township. She married Lester Alexander on November 12, 1932. Beatrice spent her life as a homemaker and farmer’s wife. She loved gardening and knitting, and she was good hunter.Beatrice is survived by her sons, Maurice Alexander (friend Joanne) and Arnold (Bonnie) Alexander; her daughters-in-law, Nancy Alexander and Sharon Alexander; her 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.She is predeceased by her husband Lester; her sons, Orvil “Red” Alexander and Floyd Alexander; her grandchildren, Gary, Ted, and Roger; and her siblings, Eva, Ila, Stanley, Myrna, and Acal.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.nelson-house.com.
